Avco Embass label was founded by Joseph E. Levine (film producer) and songwriters/producers Hugo
& Luigi, (Hugo Peretti and Luigi Creatore). Embassy was dropped in
1971.
At
the end of 1975, Hugo & Luigi bought out Levine, and renamed the label
H&L.
